We've all had role models in our lives, (some good some not so good). Someone we looked up to or greatly admired. As kids we may have in our imagination, even elevated them to superhero status, complete with super powers and dressed in spandex and a cape. Today lets look at a different kind of superhero, one with greater power than we can imagine, but clothed in humility.
One perfect person
There is only one perfect person,
only one example to follow,
only one measuring stick to compare ourselves with,
only one mould to desire the clay of our lives be pressed into.
His name is Jesus Christ.
Being fully God He humbled Himself to live a fully human existence,
and when He died as a human being, He paid the price for all the sin of the world.
Risen from death, having conquered it,
He is alive today,
and will enter into and dwell in the hearts of those who seek Him and accept Him
as Lord and Saviour of their lives.
