I've been struggling through a difficult season in life lately. Maybe you have to. I guess we all have our valleys to go through. So today I wanted to share a couple bible readings and a little poem.
The first one is Psalm 23 ( click on the link ) it's always a great reminder of God's goodness and sovereignty even in our trials.

Here is a little poem I wrote down several years ago:
even here,
even now,
His love is all around us,
even here,
even now,
to shield and surround us,
even in troubles valley deep,
He shepherds and protects His sheep,
even here,
even now,
His love is all around us.
Some other verses I've been thinking of the past couple of days are 1 Peter chapter 5 verses 6 and 7, they say: Humble yourselves, therefore, under God's mighty hand that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.
May we, even in our troubles and trials, keep our hearts and eyes on Jesus Christ, who suffered severely to cover the cost of all our sin and wrong doing.
